The HDIF Team leader participated as a panelist during the session titled “Stoking African Innovation: Ways and Means”. The session focused on a broad spectrum of innovations addressing economic and social needs. On the social aspect, they discussed how innovations can improve basic services in education, health, water, sanitation, and hygiene; how innovations can promote smarter cities, the next generation of public services, as well as human capability development. The session also explored how to create the best environment and ecosystem to support innovation and Information and Communications Technology (ICT) entrepreneurship.
