ICS project handed over to the Local Government in Shinyanga

HDIF in collaboration with ICS officiated the ICS project assets handover early July, 2018 to the Local Government in Shinyanga.ICS was implementing a Prepaid Solutions for Sustainable Water Services project were with the help of the Susteq revenue collection system enable ICS to supply water to licensed water credit sales point (water kiosks) in Maganzo who supplies to the consumers.

The ICS project assets were handed over to the District Commissioner who was the guest of honor representing the Permanent Secretary. The assets handed over included 2 water tanks with a combined capacity of 215 Cubic meters; 25 water kiosks pre-fitted with prepaid machines; a network of 11 credit sellers with 11 installed shop hubs; a 11.7 KM pipeline network.

The event was  well represented by various key stakeholders including Kishapu District Commissioner Nyabaganga Taraba, Kishapu District Council Chairman Boniface Butondo, Maganzo Ward Councilor Rwinza Mbaru Kididi and Maganzo Village Chairman, also present were the ICS and MAGAWASA staff and Susteq CEO Maarten.
