David read law at Temple University and joined Deloitte in 2005 where he consulted on international mergers and acquisitions and managed several large projects in their $100M pro bono program. He went on to teach Nonprofit Law at Villanova University and later launched H14, a successful market development consultancy. David is on the Board of Board Source which provides support to leaders of not-for-profit organisations and has published a number of articles on development and innovation including for Disprupt Africa and Monthly Development. .
David joined HDIF in May 2014 to serve as the chief technical officer and relationship steward with DFID, the Government of Tanzania, consortium members (Palladium, KPMG, WEDC, EG West Centre, and IDS), donor agencies, impact investors, grantees, staff, and external consultants.
